Boys & Girls Club Treated to Fun at Clearwater Marine Aquarium

Uncategorized Posted June 27, 2024

Boys and Girls Club tour with CMA

CMA’s Inspire Program was proud to partner with the Clearwater Yacht Club and Boys & Girls Clubs of the Suncoast for a second year to give children a fun and educational day at CMA!

The kids took an aquarium tour and then boarded one of our boats to the Clearwater Yacht Club where they were treated to lunch. Special thanks to former Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, Jim Coats, for sponsoring the trip.

“It’s a great opportunity for the children to get out and enjoy some things they may not have been able to enjoy before,” said Jim Coats, board member for BGCS and former Pinellas County Sheriff.

“Kids naturally relate to animals,” said Karen Malo, CMA’s Inspire Program Director. “And just connecting them with another life force really helps them to get through whatever life challenges they might have,” she said.

Boys & Girls Club of Suncoast, Ridgecrest Club, works to save and change the lives of children and teens especially those who need them most, by providing a safe, positive and engaging environment and programs that prepare and inspire them to achieve Great Futures.
