Rewind to the raddest decade at our ‘80s Skate After Hours on July 13
CLEARWATER, FL (June 21, 2024) – Join Clearwater Marine Aquarium on Saturday, July 13, as we transform the Aquarium into a neon paradise that recreates the ‘80s. Lace up your skates and hit the rink for some freestyle fun in front of the Window of Wonder (make sure you wave to our resident dolphins on the other side of the Window). From 7 to 10 p.m., guests will create unforgettable memories at this totally tubular event!
In addition to a memorable roller-skating experience, AquaSkate guests will enjoy live entertainment, signature food and drinks, and access to the Capybara Chillout exhibit at the Aquarium. Throughout the evening, visitors can explore various marine life habitats, including dolphins, sea turtles, stingrays and other fascinating residents.
Guests who purchase VIP tickets will also have access to a VIP Only Party in the ballroom, which will feature arcade games. Challenge your family to these classic games, all the while grooving to the beats of iconic ‘80s tunes.
Tickets for AquaSkate are available in both VIP and general admission categories. General admission tickets are priced at $45 for adults and $35 for children ages 3-11, while VIP tickets are $75 for adults and $55 for children ages 3-11. CMA members receive a 10% discount on all ticket prices.
Both VIP and general admission tickets will include 1 alcoholic/nonalcoholic drink ticket per ticket holder. Dining options will be available for purchase throughout the Aquarium until 9:30. Only credit cards will be accepted at all food and beverage locations.
We will also offer a Capybara Meet and Greet event at 6:30. This special encounter enables guests to sit in the exhibit, feed and pet the capybaras. Tickets can be purchased for an additional $79.95 on the CMA website. Children ages 5-12 can enter this event for free if accompanied by a paying and participating adult. Guests with general admission tickets who also have Capybara Meet and Greet tickets can enter CMA at 6 p.m.
Both CMA members and individuals with VIP tickets have early admission and can enter the event at 6 p.m. All general admission tickets include admission to the Aquarium from 7 to 10 p.m. Doors will close at 9. Advance parking reservations are also recommended.
