CMA to present night of Hawaiian dancing and cuisine for an end-of-summer staycation
CLEARWATER, FL (July 22, 2024) – Experience a tropical luau at Clearwater Marine Aquarium’s end-of-summer Aquatic Luau celebration. Enjoy live entertainment, Hawaiian cuisine and marine life in an enchanting atmosphere Saturday, Aug. 17 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., as part of the Aquarium’s after-hours series, offering guests a unique waterfront experience.
Join CMA for an unforgettable night under the stars, bidding farewell to summer in true island style, while supporting the Aquarium’s mission of rescue, rehabilitation and release. Entertainment includes a Samoan traditional fire knife dance and traditional dancers from the Polynesian, Hawaiian, Samoan and Tahitian cultures, who will also offer dance lessons.
The Aquatic Luau will provide exclusive access to underwater views of the Aquarium’s rescued dolphins, sea turtles, stingrays and other resident animals. Guests will have the chance to explore several marine life habitats, viewable during evening hours until 8:30 p.m.
“This is a great opportunity for families to enjoy a fun-filled evening at the Aquarium, surrounded by delicious food and music and the marine life that we are dedicated to protecting,” said Anthony Rivera, Chief Operating Officer of Clearwater Marine Aquarium.
Each GA ticket holder will receive four sample tickets to enjoy a variety of Luau-themed food and drink, (non-alcoholic options for children), savoring the tastes of the islands with these exclusive samples. Additional dining options will be available for purchase throughout until 9:30 p.m. Cash Bars available throughout the Aquarium.
General admission tickets are $55 for adults and $45 for children. VIP tickets are $75 and $65 for children. CMA Members receive 10% off any ticket and will receive early admission at 6 p.m. VIP tickets include admission from 6 – 8:30 p.m., exclusive entertainment, private buffet dining in the Jacobson Ballroom, provided by Proof of the Pudding, and one alcoholic/nonalcoholic drink ticket.
