Get splashed by a dolphin and enjoy marine life presentations
Clearwater, Florida. (July 1, 2025) — Clearwater Marine Aquarium is turning up the fun this July with “Summer Splash,” a month-long celebration filled with interactive marine-themed activities the whole family will enjoy. From July 1 through July 31, guests can experience the excitement of water-filled activities and educational animal demonstrations.
Summer Splash transforms your visit into a water-filled adventure with daily dolphin presentations, with guests getting an up-close look at the playful and energetic behavior of CMA’s resident dolphins, daily at 11 a.m., 1 and 3 p.m. If you’re standing in the splash zone, be prepared — these dolphins love to interact and may give you a refreshing surprise. While you’re engaging in summer fun, take the time to meet our four new rough-toothed dolphins, Doris, Kitana, Dagny and Wren.
For guests looking to learn more about the care of the aquatic habitats, CMA’s dive team will give guests a behind-the-scenes look at their work. This presentation takes place every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 11:30 a.m., where divers will take photos with guests and participate in underwater Q&A’s.
Over at Stingray Beach, guests can learn about one of the ocean’s most unique species during a new zebra shark feeding presentation. This educational experience explores the biology, behavior and conservation of zebra sharks and happens daily from 2:30 to 2:45 p.m.
Summer Splash is included with general admission, and every activity supports Clearwater Marine Aquarium’s mission. As a nonprofit organization, CMA relies on the generosity of its community to fund the rescue, rehabilitation and release of marine animals, as well as to support ongoing education and conservation efforts. Memberships offer year-round access to the aquarium, discounts on special programs and events and help ensure that CMA can continue its vital work protecting marine life.
