Cedar’s Story
Cedar is a juvenile, green sea turtle who was found in a pond near the Steinhatchee River in Taylor county on May 21. Cedar has a minor case of fibropapilloma and is in relatively a good body condition!

Cedar’s first swim test showed no abnormal behaviors in water. Their electrolytes are also normal considering their freshwater exposure.

Cedar is able to be in water all day and overnight. They are already showing interest in food! They are on oral antibiotics.

Cedar’s CT scan showed no concerning abnormalities.
