Michelangelo’s Story
Michelangelo is a juvenile green sea turtle who was found washed ashore on Dayonta Beach Shores on March 19. Michelangelo, along with 5 other turtles, was transferred to Clearwater Marine Aquarium from Volusia County Marine Science Center on April 1 because of limited space. Michelangelo is improving and doing well in our care!

All marine turtle footage taken in Florida was obtained with the approval of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) under conditions not harmful to marine turtles. Footage was acquired while conducting authorized conservation activities pursuant to FWC MTP-18-172.
