Details
Quinn, an endangered sub-adult green sea turtle, was rescued on Sunday, April 21 after being reported floating offshore near Homosassa in Citrus County. Quinn weighed in at one-hundred pounds upon arrival to CMA. Radiographs confirmed that air in Quinn’s GI tract was causing the buoyancy issue.
Quinn was released on Tuesday, April 30 at Fred Howard Park in Tarpon Springs, FL after rehabilitation at Clearwater Marine Aquarium.
