CLEARWATER, FL (Aug. 28, 2023) – Clearwater Marine Aquarium will close early today at 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 28 and will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 29-30 due to Hurricane Idalia.
In preparation for this storm’s landfall, CMA teams have been diligently preparing the building to protect resident animals from the storm. Hurricane shutters are in place, generators are ready, food has been prepared, and a hurricane ride-out team is in place.
