English Muffin’s Story
English Muffin is a juvenile green sea turtle who was found floating, entangled near New Port Richey on May 21. The entanglement materials were removed prior to CMA personnel arriving. English Muffin has a moderate amount of fibropapilloma tumors present on their body as well as tumors on both eyes. English Muffin’s initial treatment consists of fluids, vitamins, and antibiotics.

English Muffin had a routine endoscopy performed to check for signs of disease progression. Unfortunately there were esophageal tumors found. Due to this English Muffin was humanely euthanized.
