Mario Kart is a juvenile Kemp’s ridley who was rescued on July 29, 2018. Mario Kart was hooked by a fisherman and the hook got caught in his right front flipper. The fisherman brought the turtle to the pier at the Seminole Boat Ramp where it was picked up and taken to Clearwater Marine Aquarium.

On July 15, 2018, Jenga was found floating in Honeymoon Island State Park and was brought to a ranger station before being taken to CMA.

Donkey Kong is a juvenile Kemp’s ridley sea turtle that was found at Clearwater Beach with monofilament wrapped around its flipper on June 13.

Bowser was found floating and swimming sideways around St. John’s Sound, between Honeymoon Island State Park and Fred Howard Park on June 13, 2018. This was most likely due to gastrointestinal gas.

On May 22, a juvenile green sea turtle was found on a spoil island just east of Honeymoon Island by an in-water research group.

On January 7, 2018, a juvenile green sea turtle was found floating at Hudson Beach in Pasco County, FL with suspected fibropapilloma tumors present.

Nacho, a juvenile green sea turtle, was found on April 11, 2018, in Daytona, Florida lethargic, underweight, and encrusted in barnacles.

Swiss, a juvenile green sea turtle, was found circling at the surface of the water on April 27, 2018, near Tierra Verde Marina.

On April 28, 2018, a juvenile green sea turtle was found stranded on the East Coast of Florida with fibropapilloma tumors on the body and a large amount of epibiota (barnacles and algae).
