The Dolphin Tale Stars will be visiting Clearwater Marine Aquarium Dec. 27-30. During their last visit to CMA the stars surprised a special young guest named Mayra Gillis.

Eric Jacobs is a Sergeant in the 641 Regional Support Group U.S. Army and has recently returned from deployment in Kuwait and Afghanistan. Winter, one of our three resident dolphins, has provided inspiration to his family. His wife Julie, and two children Jadon and Aleena, were inspired by Winter to never give up in hard times. Just like Winter never gave up when she lost her tail, the Jacobs family never gave up while Eric was deployed, despite how hard this was for them.

Seven-year-old Layla Welch’s dream came true on Friday, October 20, 2017, when she met her dolphin heroes, Winter and Hope, at Clearwater Marine Aquarium.

Leya has a very special connection with Winter and Hope. She is inspired by Winter as she too is an amputee and she also happens to share a birthday with Hope!
